Acupuncture is a safe and effective treatment and prevention for many common illnesses and pain management. The World Health Organization has recognized Acupuncture as an effective treatment for more than 80 health conditions, including:

  • Pain management (knee, back and neck pain, arthritis, sciatica)

  • Stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, detoxification, insomnia

  • Stroke, paralysis

  • Digestive disorders (ulcers, nausea)

  • Pregnancy & gynaecological (morning sickness, hypertension, PMS, labour)

Acupuncture works by inserting small stainless steel needles that stimulate “acu-points” found in specific areas of your body. The needles are pre-sterilized and disposable (single use). During a 20-40 minute treatment, patients may feel a slight stinging sensation followed by heaviness and warmth. Acupuncture balances the circulation of Qi and encourages your body’s natural healing process. Most of my patients find it to be relaxing and meditative.

My focus is to provide Acupuncture that addresses health requirements for every individual body. I can support you through education and treatment, and encourage you to embrace your individual health challenges. Together we can create a lifestyle and treatment plan that integrates gentle modifications and facilitates healing. I look forward to helping you embrace your health.

In 2016, Angie attended our Island Bridges retreat, which has been running for 29 years and is guided by the principles of service and unity. Our mission statement is “creating an environment that fosters healing, acceptance and rejuvenation of Spirit that bridges all people.” Angie offered Community Acupuncture to 40 participants. I worked alongside Angie and was most impressed with her professional manner, ease of working with so many people at one time and her organizational skills. The session flowed beautifully and received rave reviews by the participants. I would highly recommend Angie and hope that she will return to this annual retreat.
